Here in Chicago we have arguably the best
sources for Orchids in the Country! There are 8 commercial
growers and MANY private individuals as well. In addition,
I have formed lasting relationships with other commercial,
wholesaler growers and importers nationwide. This means that
I can literally get just about ANYTHING you're looking for.
I'm happy to fill special orders for clients
who have purchased plants in the past (some call me a "Personal
Orchid Shopper", others the "Orchid Devil"!)
The same high standards of quality, detail, and information
that you see in my auctions and offerings goes into all my
special orders.
For those of you who CAN make it to the Chicago
ranges, I always suggest you contact them FIRST; I do have
volume discounts arranged with most of them but I make my
markup too. I'm not "greedy", so I suggest that
if you can make it to the area ranges, I highly suggest hand-picking
your own plants (it will probably be cheaper and more satisfying!)
I request that special orders are paid via
Paypal to allow me to send you your plants as quickly as possible.
My special order process is simple, if I am able to acquire
the plant you are looking for, I will quote you a price range.
If you are comfortable with that range, I will hand-select
the best specimen (both of quality and value) for your consideration.
I always provide you with an image of the actual plant before
you commit to purchasing the plant. If you want it, then it's
yours; if not, I auction it on Ebay! If you have a wish list,
don't hesitate to send it.
